Implementation Plan
The project consists of six work packages divided into two major phases, with visibility (WP5) and management/dissemination (WP6) operating concurrently. The overall term is 36 months, with coordinated execution by the lead institution—BURGAS STATE UNIVERSITY "PROF. DR. ASSEN ZLATAROV"—and the partner—Ruse University "Angel Kanchev".
Phase I — Months 1–18
WP1 — Synthesis with pure raw materials (Co, Cu, Ni) — Months 1–12
• Solid‑state sintering and sol–gel synthesis
• Pigment characterisation
• Optimisation of synthesis parameters
WP2 — Synthesis with waste raw materials (Co, Cu, Ni) — Months 7–18
• Assessment and analysis of waste raw materials
• Synthesis and characterisation of pigments
• Comparison with WP1 results
Phase II — Months 19–36
WP3 — Synthesis with pure raw materials (Cr, Fe, Mn) — Months 19–27
• Synthesis with new chromophores
• Mössbauer spectroscopy and complementary analyses
• Comparison of methods and phase composition
WP4 — Synthesis with waste raw materials (Cr, Fe, Mn) — Months 19–36
• Recalculation of batch compositions relative to waste feedstock
• Synthesis and full characterisation
• Applicability assessment
Supporting packages (run across the entire project)
WP5 — Project visibility
• Project website
• Conference participation, publications, lectures
• Organisation of seminars and meetings
WP6 — Management and dissemination
• Partner coordination and progress control
• Interim and final reporting
• Ensuring visibility and transparency
